Bobbi Colburn's design identity meets at the intersection of fashion and activism. Black designers face an industry that historically, has not uplifted us, our work, or our perspectives. Bobbi is dedicated to revolutionizing "fashion" as a tool to empower, educate, and provoke action through the lens of textiles, silhouette, jewelry and material exploration.

MASKART 2020
Public Selected Prize Winner
The MASKART Competition was initiated and sponsored by MassArt alum Julie Lam and her husband, Kapil Mathur. They hoped that a mask design contest will help showcase the talented students of MassArt's fashion department while simultaneously raising awareness about mask-wearing among a young audience.
CFDA LIZ CLAIBORNE IMPACTFUL FUTURES 2020
Finalist
The 2021 CFDA Liz Claiborne Design for Impactful Futures Scholar Award is a $25,000 scholarship awarded to a selected student demonstrating innovative design thinking within sustainable fashion systems.
